The Blavatnik Family Foundation, the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and the New York Academy of Sciences announced this week the laureates of the 2023 Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists in Israel.
One of this year’s Laureates, who will each receive US$100,000, is Shai Carmi, PhD (Life Sciences) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was recognised for his fundamental contributions to the fields of population and medical genetics.
