Our thoughts are with our colleagues and friends at the Hebrew University and their families. We stand with the people of Israel and pray for a swift end to this conflict.
- 31st December 2023 = opening of the academic year 2023/24 (there may be changes)
- Around 5000 Hebrew University’s students have been called up for military service along with some 350 younger faculty and administration staff
- The start of the new academic year has been delayed to early November
- Two of the University’s 6 campuses, the Faculty of Agriculture, Nutrition & Environment in Rehovot and the Koret Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Bet Dagan lie south of Tel Aviv but have fortunately not experienced any direct hit or injuries
