The Exchange Programme at the Hebrew University is designated to international students at one of the University’s partner universities. During your exchange semester or year, you can take courses in English or Hebrew across various disciplines, often earning credits toward your degree. You’ll also have access to activities offered by our Office of Student Life, including sports, cultural events and trips throughout Israel.
Students from partner universities can participate in exchange programmes for a summer, semester, or year. You’ll have the chance to enroll in diverse courses, engage in intensive language studies, and enjoy exciting extracurricular activities. Course credits earned may transfer to your home institution, pending approval.
The Hebrew University offers three exchange tracks based on their agreements with partner universities:
- University-level exchange programme: Bilateral agreements with international institutions, covering most academic fields
- Faculty-level exchange programme: Bilateral agreements with specific faculties at partner institutions, limited to certain fields
- Erasmus+: The EU’s mobility programme for students from Erasmus+ partner universities, providing opportunities to study at the Hebrew University in various academic fields with funding
