In 2019-2020 she was a Research Group convenor on ‘constitutional transplantations’ and fellow of the Israel Institute of Advanced Studies at the Hebrew University. Her work includes the books Boundaries of State, Boundaries of Rights: Human Rights, Private Actors, and Positive Obligations and Religious freedom in international law: Between group rights and individual rights, the latter cited by the European Court of Human Rights. She has been a member of a UN expert group on rights of religious minorities. She was previously an attorney for the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, appearing in constitutional cases at the Supreme Court of Israel.
