A Lifetime in the Field of Cannabinoid Research

It is my privilege to continue with the tradition of hosting symposia in honor of Prof Raphael Mechoulam, who was my mentor when I was a young scientist at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Following a conference in 2010 for his 80th birthday and another in 2015 for his 85th birthday, it is a pleasure to be able to host another event for Raphael's 90th Birthday.

Prof Mechoulam is the forefather of cannabinoid medicinal chemistry and pharmacology, currently a very hot topic in the treatment of epilepsy and other neurological disorders.
